Vic Trip 2001 - Wangaratta,

July 2001, Roz, Dan, Casper and I met up in Melbourne, Victoria for a week of fun at Dan's folk's farm in Oxley, just out of Wangaratta and up into the mountains around Lake Buffalo.

Dan's father Arthur let us get his lovely new Cruiser well and truly muddy.
A beautiful lttle bridge over one of the many creeks we crossed - and not a troll in sight. Dan, Andy and Nathan taking it easy
Casper crossing the creek in the Cruiser - not enough water for me. :-) Another break on a mountain top Dan fixing Andy's bike - We decided we didn't want the wheel falling off after all
Roz looking very innocent as she loads the magazine of the 22. That's what we want to see - chicks with guns. ;-) Casper showing just what a lucky shot he is with the 22. Another track through the forest
Another nice little bridge in the middle over another creek. Looking for trolls... ...maybe it washed down the creek.
Arty shot of a moss-covered log Picnic lunch by a cloud-covered lake at about 1000m above sea level. Dan had the bright idea of keeping our egg and bacon sandwiches warm by storing them on top of the engines of the 4WDs on the trip up...
... Needless to say we managed to salvage only some of our sandwiches from the mud-covered, burnt remains! Another arty photo of a waterfall over the other side of the valley Contemplating the remains of our sandwiches. Engine grease doesn't taste all that bad. :-)
Sheds on the Parker farm - the lovely 1929 Chevy viuntage car lives in that shed Roz being domestic
The Parker home More Parker Sheds The extended Parker family who warmly welcomed us into their household for the week - Thanks heaps Arthur and Helen for putting up with us.
Slippery track where Dan, Roz and I came to grief slipping over on our trailbikes... The cruiser with Andy driving also ended up slipping off the track - that clay is damn slippery. Stopped for another break
The compulsory arty sunset shot Roz and Deb Me pretending I know how to use a shotgun - and boy was my shoulder sore the following day.
